2015.06.29. By virtue of a decision of 16th June 2015, President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski awarded Anna Kozłowska Ph.D., D.Sc. the title of Professor of Earth Sciences.

2015.03.16. Professor emeritus Zofia Kielan-Jaworowska, IP employe and director, died in Warsaw on the 13th of March, aged 89. She was one of Poland’s most distinguished palaeontologists, a world-recognised specialist in the study of fossil mammals, member Polish and foreign editorial boards, scientific societies and councils. 

2015.03.13. By virtue of a decision of 4th March 2015, President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski awarded Andrzej Pisera Ph.D., D.Sc. the title of Professor of Earth Sciences.

04.06.2014. Professor emeritus Adam Urbanek, IP employe and director, died in Warsaw on the 3rd of June, aged 86. He was one of Poland’s most distinguished palaeontologists, a world-recognised specialist in the study of fossil graptolites [in memoriam in Acta Palaeontologica Polonica].

21.05.2014. By virtue of a decision of 2nd April 2014, President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski awarded Danuta Peryt Ph.D., D.Sc. the title of Professor of Earth Sciences.

26.03.2014. By virtue of a decision of 19th February 2014, President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski awarded Jarosław Stolarski Ph.D., D.Sc. the title of Professor of Earth Sciences.
