  • 2006. Bachelor of Science in geology, Faculty of Earth Sciences, University of Silesia, (Freeliving crinoids from Mesozoic and Cenozoic of Poland)
  • 2008. Master of Science in geology, Faculty of Earth Sciences, University of Silesia, (Late Jurassic stalked crinoids from the Malogoszcz)
  • 2008-present. Ph.D. student, Institute of Paleobiology PAS, Warsaw; Eocene Sponges (Demospongiae) from SW Australia; scientific supervisor Ph.D., D.Sc. Andrzej Pisera

Awards and fellowships
  • 2007/2008. Scholarship awarded by Ministry of Sciences and Higher Education for outstanding results in study.
  • 2009. Travel grant in 10th Anniversary Conference of the Czech, Polish and Slovak Paleontologists, Banská Bystrica, Slovak Republic
  • 2010. Accepted as a participant of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute Short Course in Taxonomy, Systematic and Ecology of Sponges, and awarded a fellowship in the form of a waiver for the cost of the course fee.
