The library of the Institute houses currently the largest collection of paleontological books and periodicals in Poland. When the stock was taken last time in 1986, the library held 10854 volumes of books and separate reprints and 27006 volumes of periodicals. Among the periodicals received, we subsribe to 18 foreign titles and receive by exchange 220 titles from 50 countries.
